After the initial free diagnosis, further investigation is charged at my fixed  rate of £30 per third of an hour. Customers can ask for a cap on “investigation time”, I will of course stop immediately I’m able to provide a reliable diagnosis. I try not to charge at all in any case where I can't solve a problem for any reason, unless agreed...

Repair is also at the standard rate, including sourcing of parts, installation and testing complete with a service report and certificate. An estimate will be provided prior to any work taking place, that details the parts cost and expected labour cost.
