Analogue synthesizers, keyboards and other tuned items often can drift out of linear alignment (or "scale" as Sequential call it), for example, notes at the top of the scale may be “too close” and those lower down “too far apart”, certain banks of notes may be out of tune, it may no longer be possible to reliably tune using the external controls or where two oscillators are in tune at one end of the keyboard, they are de-tuned at the other end.

Tuning is provided at the standard third hourly rate, complete with a service report, tuning record video clip and certificate. An estimate will be provided prior to any work taking place that details expected time required. Should tuning issues be due to parts problems, the service becomes Diagnosis and Repair as described below.
